Columbia-based construction company, Mimms Contracting, LLC, opens doors on new Taco Boy Restaurant

On June 26th, South Carolina’s newest Taco Boy Restaurant opened in Summerville. Mimms Contracting, a Columbia, S.C. based commercial construction firm, reached substantial completion on the two-story restaurant on June 18th. The newly constructed taqueria is a 6,300 square foot restaurant with an additional 1,500 square feet of covered outdoor dining space. “We are thankful to have been given this opportunity by Karalee, April and the entire Taco Boy team”, said Charlie Mimms, President of Mimms Contracting. “Being the first restaurant to open, and the first business to open inside the Nexton Square Development, was an important milestone for everyone.”

Taco Boy owners, Karalee Fallert and April Bennett, worked hand-in-hand with Mimms Contracting on their third restaurant. “We are proud to bring our Taco Boy concept to the popular and ever-growing area of Summerville, and especially to the Nexton Square Development, where we feel sure we will fit right in with the forward-thinking community.” Along with the newly opened Summerville location, Taco Boy has restaurants on Folly Beach and downtown Charleston.
