City’s Summer Concert Series extended to August 24

Two additional concerts have been added to the lineup for the City of Columbia’s live outdoor summer concert series at Finlay Park, the Columbia Parks & Recreation Department announced.

R&B group Shai and Loose Ends featuring Jane Eugene will perform at the City’s free annual concert in the park.

Concerts will be held from 7 to 10 p.m. on the following dates:

• August 3–Tony Terry
• August 17-Shai, Peace & Love Band
• August 24- Loose Ends featuring Jane Eugene

All concerts will be held in Finlay Park located at 930 Laurel St., and are free and open to the public.

Guests can register for “Karaoke Idol” beginning at 6 p.m. on the day of the concert. Participants must be age 18 or older.

Attendees are welcome to bring blankets and lawn chairs. No pets and no glass or alcoholic beverages are allowed. Food vendors will be available.
