South Carolina Restaurant and Lodging Association seeking nominations for Upstate Hospitality Awards

September 8, 2019

The South Carolina Restaurant and Lodging Association (SCRLA) is seeking nominations for the 7th Annual Upstate Hospitality Awards, honoring the best of the best in the Upstate’s hospitality industry. The Awards will be held Monday, November 4 at the Embassy Suites Golf Resort in Greenville.

The Upstate Hospitality Awards celebrate the exceptional professionalism and outstanding service of top individuals in the hospitality industry. Nominations are accepted from SCRLA members in the Upstate, including Anderson, Greenville, Pickens and Spartanburg Counties.

“The Upstate’s tourism industry is booming, due in no small part to its exceptional work force which exemplifies the highest standards, and best practices, of the hospitality industry on a daily basis,” said John Durst, SCRLA’s President and CEO.

Durst encourages members in the Upstate to nominate their colleagues who regularly go above and beyond to demonstrate to the steadily increasing number of visitors that “We’re glad you’re here”, making them eager to return and share their world-class experience with their friends and family.

To submit a nominee or learn more about sponsorship opportunities, please visit www.scrla.org/page/upstate_awards. The deadline to submit nominations is September 23. Award recipients will have the potential to win a statewide SCRLA Stars of the South Carolina Hospitality Award in January.
