Cola Town Bike Collective to launch fall concert series October 19th

September 25, 2019

Cola Town Bike Collective will launch its inaugural fall concert series on October 19th from 6 to 9 pm at 711 Elmwood Avenue. The two-part series will feature local artists and showcase ColaTown Bike Collective’s new home in Elmwood Park. Jade Blocker, 6iXX and guests, and H3r0 form the lineup for the first event in the series.

Musical styles will vary throughout the fall concert series, in keeping with the Bike Collective’s commitment to making its new space accessible to all. Members and friends of the Bike Collective were inspired to host the series to demonstrate its potential as a community gathering space even beyond its use as a bike shop. String lights over an outdoor seating area create an ideal event venue, and proximity to Elmwood Avenue and the Vista Greenway make it easy to reach on foot, by bike, or by car.

“We want to partner with other people doing good work in the city that we love, and we see music as another way to bring people together and help them become more familiar with the resources we offer,” said Scott Nuelken, President of ColaTown Bike Collective. “We’re so excited to have such a great line up of local artists in our first concert series.”
