LS3P architects to host “Light the Night” walking team to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS)
October 11, 2019LS3P’s Columbia office is continuing its 15 th anniversary celebration by participating in the “Light the Night” eventheld at the State House on Tuesday, October 29. The annual series of fundraising events is organized by the Columbia Chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) to pay tribute and bring light to the darkness of cancer through research and support for patients and their families. Each year for Light the Night, groups of friends, families, or co-workers form fundraising walk teams and gather together to celebrate, honor, or remember those touched by cancer. Culminating in inspiration and memorable evening walks every fall, participants in 140 communities across North America join together carrying illuminated lanterns to take steps to end cancer.
LS3P committed to raising $15,000 by the Columbia Office’s anniversary on May 15 th , 2019; the firm exceeded its goal, raising $15,615 from colleagues, clients, vendors, and the community to date. A 15-week social media campaign amplified the team’s fundraising efforts. “LS3P is honored to be a part of this exciting and important event. We look forward to walking alongside our coworkers, clients and friends who helped us reach our goal.
