Trick-or-Treat with your family in downtown Columbia on Halloween – October 31

Plenty of ghouls and goblins are ready to descend on downtown Columbia. Richland Library is getting in the spirit by offering a safe, family-friendly option this Halloween. Please dress in costume and join us for the Not-So-Spooky Halloween Stroll from 3 – 5 p.m., Thursday, October 31 at our Main location (1431 Assembly Street). Geared toward children, this event is free and open to the public.
Trick-or-treat throughout the library and enjoy holiday-themed activities. Then take a stroll across Assembly Street, with help from the Columbia Police Department and the City Center Partnership Yellow Shirts, to trick-or-treat in the Main Street District at the following, participating businesses:

A little later in the evening, Richland Library is hosting teens, ages 12 to 18, back at our Main location for Ghoul’s Night In. We’re planning to make gourmet caramel apples and watch one of our favorite Halloween flicks, Hocus Pocus.
