Richland County locker room manufacturer expands operations

Columbia Systems International of South Carolina (CSiSC) recently announced plans to move its growing operations to 9031 Farrow Road in Northeast Columbia. The move represents a 42,000-square-foot expansion from its previous Southeast Columbia facility at 825 Garland St.
CSiSC is a locally-owned locker and partition manufacturer that was founded in 1981 by Allison Bass and Billie McClam. CSiSC is responsible for large-scale locker room renovations at the University of South Carolina, University of Michigan, LSU, University of Alabama, as well as many other high schools and universities nationwide.
McClam says “We are very proud of our past 39 years and look forward to many more in this excellent facility that will help recruit and retain our talented team of employees and expand our capabilities to serve our growing client base.” Bass added “This facility will enable us to take better care of our growing customer base and allow us to develop new products for new markets.”
James Rogers and George McCutchen, CCIM, SIOR of Wilson Kibler represented CSiSC in the 109,042-square-foot lease. 9031 Farrow Rd is a gorgeous industrial facility with 27’ ceilings, 18 dock doors, and 125’ concrete truck court. It also features a 4,800 SF showroom, and plentiful office space.
