Local entrepreneur to discuss why women need to take a seat at the table

March 6, 2020

Richland Library’s former Entrepreneur-in-Residence (EiR), Lasenta Lewis-Ellis, plans to address Why Women Need to Take a Seat at the Table from 6 – 8 p.m., Monday, March 9 at our Main location (1431 Assembly Street).

Lewis-Ellis wants to discuss the importance of seizing the moment, joining the conversation, and lifting up women and others leaders along the journey. She also looks to go over steps to intentionally and strategically listen, teach, create and do.

This program, which is free and open to the public, is based on a recent article that Lewis-Ellis contributed to The F-Suite Magazine. Please register here or call 803-799-9084.

A graduate of Midlands Technical College, the University of South Carolina, and Webster University, Lewis-Ellis is the president and CEO of LLE Construction Group, LLC. She specializes in owner’s representation in general construction and contracting, construction and project management, and facility support services. Currently, she’s working on her dissertation with a focus of study on women-owned small businesses and federal government contracting.
