Responding with urgency to the national Covid-19 pandemic, Greenwood County based post industrial plastics recycler and reprocessor, Mumford Industries Inc., have pivoted their recycling and reprocessing operation at their Ninety Six, SC facility to produce Emergency Plastic Ponchos for  those in need during the shortage of PPE.

Mumford Industries Inc., one of the southeast leaders in providing recycling and reprocessing services to manufacturers and distribution centers was in the process of creating a new line to reuse recovered materials when the need for additional protection driven by high demand for surgical gowns became known.

We are more than pleased to be able to contribute, we are humbled by the opportunity,” said George Mumford, president of Mumford Industries.
