Major Fostering Foster donor issues community challenge to donate up to $30,000 in matching funds

November 1, 2020

Fostering Foster Animal Rescue has the opportunity to end the year strong with the help of our community. A generous donor will match up to $30,000 in individual and business donations to Fostering Foster through December 31, 2020.

“This donor match opportunity is a big blessing for us at a critical time,” said Andrea Walker, Fostering Foster founder. “COVID-19 killed our annual Barn Dance, which is our biggest single fundraiser of the year. The pandemic also cancelled our other public events, such as our annual photos with Santa. What has not stopped, is the need to help unwanted pets in our communities.”

Throughout 2020, Fostering Foster has upheld its mission and continued to save more than 400 canine lives in Kershaw County and surrounding counties, including Sumter, Fairfield, Richland, Marlboro, Darlington, Lee, Lexington and Horry Counties – despite an ongoing national crisis! “This type of gift allows us to continue providing crucial services in 2021.”

Every $1.00 turns into $2.00 with this generous match. Fostering Foster has two months to raise $30,000 from individual and business donations in order to receive the full $30,000 match. “Please donate today and double your money. No gift is too small. With foster homes, donors, volunteers, and sponsors, we are saving lives together,” said Walker.

Donors can give online at fosteringfoster.com or through social platforms like Facebook. Supporters can also donate through the mail or make other arrangements directly with Fostering Foster.
