Leadership Discovery announces Fall 2020 graduates

The Charleston Metro Chamber is pleased to announce and congratulate the graduates of the Fall 2020 Leadership Discovery class. Leadership Discovery is an innovative, skills-based leadership development program that allows participants the opportunity to learn from experienced executives in the Charleston region.

Participants in Leadership Discovery received personalized DiSC assessments by Jean Meeks-Koch, Ph.D., CEO and Founder of Positively People. During the six mentor sessions, they honed their personal and professional skills and heard personal leadership stories and unique perspectives from the mentors. The program concluded with a three-course business etiquette dinner on December 15.

Leadership Discovery Class of Fall 2020

The Fall 2020 program featured an impressive lineup of presenters, providing participants with the opportunity to connect with and learn from some of the region’s top leaders. This session’s mentors included:

  • Anton Gunn, Chief Diversity Officer and Executive Director of Community Health Innovation, Medical University of South Carolina
  • Greg Parker, Founder & CEO, Parker’s Kitchen
  • Ericka Plater, Executive Director, Our Lady of Mercy Community Outreach
  • Dr. Alan Shao, Interim Vice President, Corporate Partnerships; Dean, School of Business, College of Charleston
  • Dr. Mary Thornley, President, Trident Technical College
