Charleston Metro Chamber expands DE&I initiative

February 18, 2021

The Charleston Metro Chamber announced the expansion of its Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I) initiative. Grace Hamilton, who previously served as the Chamber’s Senior Manager of Member Services, now serves as Senior Manager for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion.

Grace will work alongside consultant Kenya Dunn, the Chamber’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Executive Fellow and Founder & CEO of the Power-Filled Woman. Dunn began working with the Chamber last year to bring the organization’s initiative to life. Together, Kenya and Grace will work to advance the Chamber’s DE&I Initiative through increased programming, resource development and member engagement.

“With the building success of the Chamber’s DE&I platform, we are excited about the opportunity to expand the scope, scale and impact of this work,” said Adrian Cain, Senior Vice President of Leadership and Programs for the Charleston Metro Chamber.

With Grace’s background in membership, she will help members engage in the Chamber’s DE&I work with the goal of ensuring everyone in the region has an equitable opportunity to live, learn and earn.
