Award winning Irish dance school bringing a touch of Ireland to Lexington

Award-winning Connick School of Irish Dance is putting down roots in Lexington, SC. While holding classes in the area over the last 18 years, the school has found a permanent location to train its world class dancers. The Connick School will be celebrating this milestone by holding an open house at their new location: 428 South Lake Drive Lexington, SC 29072 this Saturday, March 20th from 12:00pm-2:00pm.
The Connick School has been around the Carolinas for over 25 years and has given their students an opportunity to travel the world while experiencing culture and utilizing dance as a creative outlet. Goal setting, developing self-confidence, and increasing motor development are a few benefits of taking classes with the school.
Stacie Greiner, the director of the prestigious Connick School, can barely contain her excitement! “We’re beyond thrilled to have a location in Lexington to call home. The town mirrors our boutique feel and we can’t wait to celebrate the joy of Irish Dance with all those who walk through our studio doors.”
Local dancers from this school have gone on to qualify for their regional, national, and world championships. Some of these dancers will be performing at the open house. Other activities include a meet and greet with the faculty, a preview of a dance class, light refreshments, and crafts for the kids. This event is open to the public.
