Saturday, May 8th was “Prom Night” for Laurens Academy.
The event was held at the Laurens County Museum in the new renovated Witherspoon Building. The building served as the perfect location for a prom with a theme of “A Grand Affair” fashioned after the Great Gatsby.
Seniors attending prom this year didn’t get to have a prom last year due to COVID-19 so this was their first and last prom. Having the prom at the Laurens County Museum afforded the opportunity for great pictures on location and in all the unique spots on the historic square including local businesses like Verdin’s Too and Senn Law Firm.
From the looks of it, a grand time was had by all. Click on the images below to scroll through the photo gallery.
