Interior Designer

We are looking for an experienced interior designer to join our collaborative award winning team in downtown Columbia location working on a variety of projects in K12 education, higher education, commercial, and healthcare design!

Summary of Qualifications:

• Technical production skills are necessary and require a demonstrated ability to effectively produce design and construction documents
• 6+ years of design experience, architecture firm experience a plus
• Knowledge of spatial planning, ergonomics, and interior furnishings and materials
• Ability to interact professionally with office leadership and clients
• Understanding of relevant codes such as state building codes, FGI Healthcare Guidelines, NFPA, IBC, ANSI 117.1, BOMA
• Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, Lumion, and the Adobe Creative Suite is preferred
• Strong organization, multi-tasking and time management skills
• Strong design, graphic, and presentation skills
• Understanding of the design and procurement processes
• NCIDQ Certification is a plus
• Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree from a CIDA-accredited interior design program or equivalent field of study
