HDR’s Columbia staff presents check to Salvation Army of the Midlands

February 4, 2022

The Columbia office of HDR presented the Salvation Army of the Midlands with a $650 dollar check to help purchase food for the Inclement Weather Center. The funds were raised as part of a furniture sales campaign and comes as a precursor to the company’s annual Day of Giving.

Office Principal Raven Gambrell says that the donation to the Salvation Army is just one recent example of HDR’s commitment to hands-on service in the community. “We’re grateful to the work that the Salvation Army and the Inclement Weather Center do for our community. We’ve particularly seen how important their work is with the snowy and icy weather we’ve had here in the Midlands throughout the month of January. This donation is just a small way for us to say, “Thank You” for the work they do.”

Major Mark Craddock received the check on behalf of the Salvation Army and remarked on his appreciation to have the support of corporate citizens like HDR.

The HDR Columbia office and its staff support a range of organizations and causes throughout the year including United Way of the Midlands and Toys for Tots as well as the Salvation Army.
