Local Author from Book to the Big Screen

A local author has turned her book, Seven Shots into a movie. Not only is the author local but the movie is as well!
It was filmed right here in Laurens County in Gray Court, South Carolina. The movie is set to release Spring 2022!
The author, Brianna Johnson, and film crew are working to premier the movie locally as well. The movie genre is thriller/suspense and it centers around the kidnapping of a young adult and her strong will to survive. A page turner for sure.
You can find this book and more of Johnson’s books on the shelves of a coffee shop in Gray Court Owings called Arbitrary Art. The shop is tucked away upstairs above the old bank building that is now the Gray Court Community Center. While you stop by to get some coffee and a book, check out the artwork from local artists hanging on the walls.
