LCDC Relocates to New Space on the Square in Laurens
April 4, 2022The Laurens County Development Corporation announced last year the planned relocation to office space in the Midtown Building above the Coffee Roost on the Square in Laurens.
Given the location and their mission to focus on economic opportunities that result in a viable future for all County citizens this appears to be a great strategic move.
LCDC recently made the move and is now situated in the hub of downtown Laurens where potential business owners and industry leaders will see the potential that Laurens County has to offer. Prior to the move, the LCDC office was located on Professional Park Road in Clinton in the back of a quiet medical office complex.
“We are very excited to be in our new space, with the opportunity to showcase Laurens County. Our vibrant downtown location offers business prospects a glimpse of what it’s like to live and work in Laurens County. Quality of life and sense of place has become a more prominent site selection factor over the last several years, with companies wanting to locate to a place that is not only good for business, but also somewhere they can attract talent,” said Jonathan Coleman, LCDC President and CEO. “Certainly, we will continue to market the entire County to all prospects, whether they are interested in the northern, central, or southern part of the County. Our new space fits our needs perfectly and has allowed us to convert our former space into LAUNCH Laurens County, which will serve as a launch or landing pad space for new businesses as they move into the County.”
