Dancing with the Spartanburg Stars announces 2024 all-star lineup

The Cancer Association of Spartanburg & Cherokee Counties, Inc. is pleased to announce the return of the popular Dancing with the Spartanburg Stars fundraiser presented by the Hunt Family 

Spartanburg’s most stunning dance competition is back once again benefiting the Cancer Association of Spartanburg & Cherokee Counties with an all-star lineup.

Once again, ten local celebrities: Bob Allsbrook, Jeff Goshorn, Ricaye Harris, Ken Leopard, Stacy McBride, Dr. Laura Summers, Kelly Talley, Walker Wakefield, Barry Wynn, and Amy Rogers Zimmer have been paired with 10 professional dancers: Markis Allen, Sara Brehmer, Kim Butler, Heather Jolly, Jason Kimble, Blake Kirsch, Simone Mack Orr, Frederick Reeves III aka ‘Son of Ice’, Seany Urick, and William Wilkins to compete to see who receives the most votes and raises the most money for this terrific organization.

2024 Guest Judges include Suzy Cole, Ryan Langley, and Chris Steed, who will be joined by Emcees Susan Oldham and Will Hoy.

Glaydeane S. Lee, Cancer Association CEO/Executive Director says, “To date, this event has raised over $3.7 million for the Cancer Association of Spartanburg and Cherokee Counties. Every dollar supports the services that cancer patients in our area so desperately need. We are eternally grateful that our ‘local celebrities’ and professional dancers who give their time, talent, and treasure to supporting such an important cause.”

Leigh Anne Langley says, “I’m thrilled to serve as the Chair of this event for 2024. Over one million dollars was raised in 2022 to support this critical organization and we aim to beat that goal in 2024.”

The community can vote online for their favorite dancers now through the night of the event. The winner will be the couple who raises the most money.

Dancing With the Spartanburg Stars will be held at the Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium on Friday, March 22, 2024, from 6:00pm until Midnight. dancingwiththespartanburgstars.com.

The Cancer Association provides free services to currently diagnosed cancer patients in Spartanburg and Cherokee counties, such as:  nutritional supplements, fuel cards, wigs, bras and breast prostheses, medical equipment supplies, counseling, and personal care products.
