Greenville Estate Planning Council installs 2023-2024 Board
November 20, 2023The Greenville Estate Planning Council (GEPC) has installed its Board of Directors for 2023-2024. Affiliated with the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils, GEPC is a membership-based association comprised of over 150 individuals from legal, accounting, life insurance, trust administration, and certified financial planning practices in the Greenville area. Each of those disciplines is represented on the Council’s Board of Directors.
Don Clardy, partner and private wealth advisor with Upstate Legacy Planning Group, an affiliate of Northwestern Mutual, serves the Board as President. Estate planning and business entity attorney Doug O’Neal of Merline & Meacham acts as First Vice President, Programs. Clardy and O’Neal are joined by Carter Hall of CAPTRUST as Membership VP, Jake Rea of Burr & Forman as Secretary, Terri Owen of Carter, P.C. as Treasurer, and Tracy Romano of Synovus Trust Company as Immediate Past President. Rounding out the GEPC Board are three Directors: Bank of America’s Katherine Odom, Strategic Planning Group’s Steve Grant, and Elliott Davis’ Thomas Self.
