Through hands-on experience, participants will gain insight into various aspects of gardening, including:

  • Registration Fee: $25
  • Project Kit: Includes seeds, garden supplies, printed, and digital record book, and newsletters.
  • Garden Requirements: Participants must maintain a garden plot of at least 50 sq. ft. with four different plant varieties.
  • Record Book: Youth will document their progress throughout the project, with age-appropriate guidelines for completion.
  • Judging: Participants will be judged based on their record books, with awards sponsored by the SC Master Gardener Program.
