Laurens County Sheriff’s Office Updates Community Resources and Blessing Boxes

The Laurens County Sheriff’s Office has released an updated and comprehensive list of community resources and Blessing Boxes available to residents. These resources provide vital assistance, from food and clothing to utility support and medical supplies.

“The Laurens County Sheriff’s Office is committed to ensuring that our community has access to the resources they need,” said Courtney Snow, Public Information Officer. “We encourage anyone who knows of additional resources to reach out to us so we can include them in our list.”

Christ Central Joanna – Location: 710 Magnolia St., Joanna, SC

Services: Food pantry, clothing, medical supplies, household supplies, and a free laundry center for Joanna residents. Check their Facebook for special events.

Laurens Baptist Crisis Center – Location: 60 Ranch Rd, Laurens, SC

Consider donating the following items to keep the Blessing Boxes stocked and helpful:

• Travel-sized shampoo/conditioner
• Pop-top canned goods
• Face/hand wipes
• Wash cloths
• Bar soap
• Bottled water
• Socks
• Hygiene items
• Powdered milk
• Diapers
• Baby wipes
