Landscape Architect, Nurseryman, and Historian to Speak on Colonial and Native American Agricultural Practices

The Laurens County Museum is set to host an insightful lecture on “Colonial and Native American Agricultural Practices” by renowned landscape architect, nurseryman, and historian, Durant Ashmore. The event will take place on Saturday, June 29, at 10:00 a.m. at the museum, located at 116 South Public Square, Laurens, SC.
Ashmore’s lecture is part of the SC Ag&Art Tour and aims to complement the artisans who will be showcasing their skills and artwork throughout the weekend. The artisans will be present on both Saturday and Sunday, June 29 and 30, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., providing a vibrant backdrop to Ashmore’s talk.
