Laurens County Sheriff’s Office Hosts Successful School Supply Drive

July 18, 2024

The Laurens County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) celebrated a triumphant day last Friday with their annual “Fill the Cruiser” school supply drive, held at the Laurens Chick-fil-A. This event, dedicated to supporting local students in need, saw a strong response from the community.

The drive collected a wide range of essential school supplies, including bookbags, notebooks, packs of paper, pencils, erasers, sharpeners, folders, binders, graph paper, glue, highlighters, markers, crayons, colored pencils, and pens in addition to financial contributions that will be used to purchase additional supplies.

The collected supplies will be distributed at the Back to School Bash on July 27th at the Courthouse. This event not only aims to provide necessary school supplies but also to make a tangible difference in the lives of local students, setting them up for success as they head back to school.

With the community’s continued support, the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office remains committed to helping local students and fostering a positive start to the new school year.
