Blessing of the Animals Set for September 28 at Tractor Supply in Laurens

The Anglicans of Laurens County and St. Mary’s Chapel are inviting the community to bring their pets to a special “Blessing of the Animals” event at Tractor Supply Company in Laurens on Saturday, September 28. The event, which will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., will feature Archbishop Emeritus Creighton Jones of Newberry, who will be conducting individual blessings for Laurens County pets.

Each pet will receive a certificate of blessing along with complimentary dog treats. The event is a chance to celebrate God’s creation and the special role animals play in our lives. All are welcome to attend and participate in this joyful occasion.
