South Carolina recognizes National Manufacturing Day, dedicates October as SC Manufacturing Month

Governor Henry McMaster has once again issued a proclamation recognizing October 4, 2024, as National Manufacturing Day and dedicating October as South Carolina Manufacturing Month.

“National Manufacturing Day and South Carolina Manufacturing Month is a time where we honor the impact of the hardworking men and women who are the driving force behind our industry,” said Sara Hazzard, President and CEO of the South Carolina Manufacturers Alliance. “Every day, these highly skilled workers create, innovate, and push the boundaries of what’s possible. Their dedication fuels our economy, strengthens our communities, and sets the stage for a brighter, more prosperous future. We are proud of the incredible work they do, because it is their passion and skill that make South Carolina a great state and a leader in global manufacturing.”

This recognition highlights the significant contributions of the manufacturing industry and honors the hardworking men and women whose dedication drives innovation, strengthens the economy, and builds a better future for generations to come.
