AllSouth annual Soldiers and Vets Charity Golf Tournament raises $7,500

AllSouth Federal Credit Union raised $7,500.00 for Friends of Fisher House, Columbia, South Carolina. The funds were raised during their 23rd annual Soldiers & Vets Charity Golf Tournament which took place Thursday, May 16 at Golden Hills Golf & Country Club in Lexington, South Carolina. Their annual golf tournament is dedicated to bringing awareness to and supporting military causes. Over 74 people played in the tournament, including retired and active military members and community supporters. Other efforts included ten AllSouth employee volunteers, along with five Friends of Fisher House volunteers organizing and working the event.

“Supporting our military is the foundation that AllSouth was built on, and we continue this tradition with our annual Soldiers and Vets Charity Golf Tournament,” said Bill Koehler, AllSouth CEO when asked about this year’s golf tournament.

For 23 years, AllSouth has been hosting this event and has raised more than $300,000, which has been donated to organizations such as PAALS, American Red Cross, and other charities whose purpose is to support our military community and their families.
