An Inside Look at the New QT Remote Travel Center in Clinton
April 26, 2021On Thursday, April 29th the QT off Interstate 26 at Exit 54 will open for business.
Different from many of the other QT stations you might be familiar with, the QT Remote Travel Center is approximately 8,000 square feet and it will have eight gas pump islands and six diesel pump islands for customers to fuel up.
But gas isn’t the only thing they are serving up. The expansive travel center has something for everyone.
The QT kitchen will offer made fresh to order food and drink items including BBQ sandwiches, tacos, pizza, and custom-made subs, as well as, grab and go freshly crafted sandwiches, salads, donuts, pastries and more. And let’s not forget about QT’s Mac & Cheese. It’s made fresh and available at all QT Kitchens including the Clinton location so try it for yourself. The Mac & Cheese and other items can also be ordered on the QT mobile app and ready for a speedy curbside pickup.
If food is not what you need, perhaps a refreshing beverage.
The QT travel center has an expansive selection of hot and cold beverages including:
- An extensive selection of coffee
- Hot chocolate
- Cappuccino and hot chocolate combo
- Frozen hot chocolate
- Frozen cappuccino
- Frozen caramel latte
- Juice and fruit flavored frozen drinks
Wine, beer and sodas are also available for purchase.
As a remote travel center, the store has a diesel truck section for some of the most needed items for truck drivers. There is also a dedicated “professional driver” check out station for quick service. The truck fueling section located behind the store also includes a weigh station.
The Clinton QT will be open for business on Thursday and will be open 24 hours a day going forward. The ribbon cutting will be at 9:00 am on Thursday.
