Annual Earth & Sky Photo Contest: Capture Laurens County’s Beauty

The Laurens County Conservation District is excited to announce the Annual Earth & Sky Photo Contest, inviting amateur photographers to capture the natural beauty of Laurens County. This free-to-enter contest offers a grand prize of $150 for first place, with 12 chances to win in both the Youth (18 and under) and Adult categories.
To participate, photographers must be residents of Laurens County and must not have received monetary compensation for any photography jobs, ensuring the contest is exclusively for amateurs. Each contestant may submit up to two photos, which must be taken within Laurens County between January 1, 2024, and October 31, 2024.
Entries should be emailed to [email protected], including the photographer’s name, address, phone number, category (Youth or Adult), and a title for each photo. If a person is a subject in a photograph, a Photo/Media Release must be signed.
Photos submitted to the contest will become the property of the Laurens County Conservation District and may be used in future publications, including social media, with proper acknowledgement credit lines. The deadline for entries is October 31, 2024.
