Attorney and former public affairs director Anthony Quattrone joins Adams and Reese

July 21, 2016

Adams and Reese announced that Anthony M. Quattrone has joined its Columbia, South Carolina office as an Associate and member of the firm’s Transactions and Corporate Advisory Services Practice Group and Government Relations Practice Team. Quattrone is a former public affairs director for a national communications firm, a former political director for a South Carolina gubernatorial campaign, and a former research analyst for the South Carolina Office of the Attorney General. He brings a valuable mix of experience in legal, political, public affairs and financial services fields to the regional firm—which has 16 offices in 15 markets across the southern U.S. and Washington, D.C.

With a practice covering mergers and acquisitions, tax, corporate law, government affairs, and economic development, Quattrone focuses on the intersection where policy, business, politics and the law converge.

“We are excited that Anthony will be a part of the Columbia office,” said Robert P. Bethea, Jr., Columbia office Partner in Charge and a transactions attorney. “Consistent with our firm’s approach, he develops innovative solutions to complex business or political issues and works to create business and financial opportunities for his clients.”

“I’m honored to have been invited to join Adams and Reese, and I look forward to working with our clients to meet their business goals and strategic objectives,” Quattrone said.

In his previous positions, Quattrone managed daily operations at a disaster relief center; served as pro bono financial counsel to hundreds of displaced employees; and worked as a research analyst managing investigations and litigation targeting Consumer Protection, Antitrust, and Voting Rights violations. He began his career as a top-ranked new financial advisor at a national firm where he focused on building laddered municipal bond portfolios for high net worth clients.

Quattrone is admitted to practice law in South Carolina and is a member of the Federal Bar Association, South Carolina Chapter; the South Carolina Bar and the SC Bar Young Lawyers Division; the Columbia Museum of Art Contemporaries; and Kappa Sigma Fraternity as a member and national adviser.

He received his LL.M. in Taxation in May from the New York University School of Law and his J.D. in 2015 from the University of South Carolina School of Law. He also holds a B.S.M. from Tulane University.

Adams and Reese has also announced that former South Carolina House Majority Leader Kenneth A. “Kenny” Bingham. Bingham has joined the Adams and Reese Columbia Office as a leading Government Affairs Advisor (non-lawyer).
