Attorney Luke Richardson joins Collins & Lacy

J. Lucas Richardson has joined Collins & Lacy’s Columbia office as an associate in the Trucking Defense Practice Group.
Attorneys in this group represent motor carriers, owner-operators, shippers, freight forwarders, and brokers in litigation statewide arising from commercial vehicle accidents and cargo claims across the state of South Carolina.
“To successfully dispose of a broad range of claims, we leverage substantial resources,” said Scott Wallinger, Trucking Defense Practice Group leader. “Luke is a bright, young lawyer who will provide tremendous value to our clients whether he’s investigating basic physical damage or assisting in complex liability cases.”
Luke earned his bachelor of arts in biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, at the University of South Carolina School of Law.
Luke is the newest in a string of attorney hires at Collins & Lacy. Luke, Laura R. Baer, Fred H. Oliver, and J.Scott Pierce have joined the firm since March.
