Author Rebecca Brannon Speaks on “From Revolution to Reunion” at April 9 Roundtable

Author Rebecca Brannon, Ph.D., will be the guest speaker for the Revolutionary War Roundtable to be held on Monday, April 9, 2018 in the Olin B. Sansbury, Jr. Campus Life Center Ballroom, 180 Gramling Drive, on the campus of the Unviersity of South Carolina Upstate.

In her book “From Revolution to Reunion,” Brannon investigates the way in which South Carolinians, Patriot and Loyalists, managed to reconcile their bitter differences and reunite to heal South Carolina and create a stable foundation for the new United States to become a political and economic leader.

The evening begins with a social and dinner beginning at 6 p.m., followed by the presentation at 7 p.m. Tickets for the dinner are $25 and must be paid in advance to: USC Upstate, Department of History, Political Science, Philosophy & American Studies (or HPPA is fine), Bonnie Werlinich, 800 University Way, Media 102, Spartanburg, SC 29303. Please ensure that your dinner reservation is received by April 2, 2018.

Presentation-only tickets are $5 and may be purchased in advance or at the door. Beer and wine will be sold for $5 at a cash bar.
