Benji Smith of Flagship Properties receives national real estate award

January 2, 2019

Benji Smith, CCIM, President and Broker-In-Charge of Flagship Properties, recently received the National Commercial Award from the National Association of Realtors (NAR). Smith is one of 79 realtors nationwide and only three from South Carolina to earn this recognition. The award is given to REALTOR? members of NAR in recognition of their outstanding achievements within the commercial real estate industry and beyond during the past year.

Smith began his real estate career in 1994. His interest in sales and brokerage-management led to the founding of Greenville-based Flagship Properties in 2008, initially a commercial real estate company that provided sales and leasing throughout South Carolina. During the past decade, Smith has expanded the real estate company to include residential sales and leasing, and residential and commercial property management.

“This national recognition is a testament to Benji’s dedication to commercial real estate within our community,” says Nick Sabatine, CEO, Greater Greenville Association of REALTORS. “He’s made significant contributions and given substantially of his time to further our industry throughout the Upstate, serving as both a member of the Greater Greenville Association of Realtors and NAR.”

NAR is America’s largest trade association, representing 1.3 million members involved in all aspects of residential and commercial real estate industries. Smith’s recognition also is listed in the current issue of NAR’s Commercial Connections magazine.
