Billy Way, CCIM, SIOR, Achieves SIOR Designation from the Society Of Industrial And Office Realtors®

Columbia, SC – August 8, 2007 – Billy Way, CCIM, SIOR of Grubb & Ellis | Wilson Kibler has achieved the SIOR Industrial designation awarded by the SOCIETY OF INDUSTRIAL AND OFFICE REALTORS®, an international association of professional commercial real estate brokers. 

To achieve the SIOR designation, Billy completed at least five years creditable experience in the highly specialized field of office real estate and demonstrated to SIOR professional ability, competency, ethical conduct, and personal integrity.

Billy began his commercial real estate career with Grubb & Ellis | Wilson Kibler in 1991. In addition to achieving the SIOR Office designation, he also holds the designation of Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM).

Individuals who hold the SIOR designation are top producers in the commercial real estate field and are represented in 480 cities and 20 countries around the world. SIOR enforces a strict code of ethics and requires designees to complete its ethics course within their first three years of membership.

Last year, SIOR designees closed more than 72,000 buying, selling or leasing transactions involving 2.2 billion square feet of commercial real estate.  These transactions totaled $80.7 billion, or an average of $32.3 million per member.
