Bourbon presents The 2018 Great American Whiskey Fair – October 18

Join Whiskey lovers from around the world on the evening of October 18th at the Grand Hall at 701 Whaley St. in Columbia SC  for the LARGEST whiskey tasting in the United States. This is an evening of festive appreciation from whiskeys around the globe, from cask to glass.

Now in its 6th year, The Great American Whiskey fair features 500 whiskeys from over 100 distilleries.  Tickets will include access to the entire tasting, as well as food provided by Columbia’s whiskey-centric restaurant, Bourbon, and access to the Cigar Veranda.  The US Bartenders Guild of Columbia will also be presenting craft cocktails, and near the conclusion of the event the 6th Annual Cocktail Challenge will take place, featuring last years winner and as well as three new contestants from around the south east.

Bulleit, Maker’s Mark, Jim Beam, Knob Creek, Eagle Rare, Elijah Craig, Jack Daniels, Four Roses, Woodford Reserve, Buffalo Trace, Evan Williams, Jefferson’s, George Dickel, Belle Meade, Willet, Angels Envy, Larceny, Wild Turkey, Old Forester, Weller, Bernheim’s, Medley Bros, High West, Buffalo Trace, Bird Dog, Virgil Kane, Six & Twenty, Copper Horse, are just a few who will represent for the US of A, while Jameson, Powers, Laphroig, Compass Box, Macallan, Balvenie, Nikka, Suntory and more will represent the rest of the whiskey world.

A limited number of VIP tickets will be available and will include special VIP events prior to the Whiskey Fair, a GAWF t-shirt, goody bag, early entry, a chance to win a Private Bourbon Tasting for 10, complimentary cigar and Whiskey Wood stir sticks!
