Boyer Construction awarded 2019 HIRE Vets Gold Medallion Award

Boyer Commercial Construction, Inc. announced today that it was awarded the U.S. Department of Labor 2019 HIRE Vets Gold Medallion. The Honoring Investments in Recruiting and Employing American Military Veterans Act (HIRE) Vets Medallion Award is the only federal-level veterans’ employment award that recognizes a company’s commitment to veteran hiring, retention, and professional development.

Boyer Commercial Construction, Inc. is the only General Contractor in South Carolina to earn the 2019 award and one of only 10 companies in South Carolina who received the U.S. Department of Labor 2019 HIRE Vets Medallion. In 2019, the company entered the federal construction market with construction contracts supporting the Dorn VA Medical Center in Columbia, SC, the Heffner VA Medical Center in Salisbury, NC, Fort Jackson in Columbia, SC and the Public Buildings Service GSA in SC.
