Brad Allen of The ART of Real Estate appointed to State Housing, Finance and Development Authority

COLUMBIA, SC – Governor Haley made a new appointment for Commissioner to the State Housing, Finance and Development Authority this week. Brad Allen, of The ART of Real Estate, will finish out an existing term from a previous commissioner through August 15, 2018. Focused on providing guidance and overseeing housing projects for low to moderate income families, assisting with rental information, first time home buying information and general housing needs for the citizens of South Carolina. “I look forward to bringing my experience to the table to assist South Carolinians in need” says Mr. Allen.
Mr. Allen brings a unique experience set to the position as a Professional Photographer, REALTOR®, CRS®, ABR®, at The ART of Real Estate in Columbia, SC. Mr. Allen became a REALTOR® in 2006 after finishing his undergraduate degree at the University of South Carolina. He quickly teamed up with his now partners, Andrea Reynolds and Mary Lane Sloan to form The ART of Real Estate. Today, Mr. Allen is the Managing Partner and Broker-in-Charge with the realty company.
Mr. Allen was recently recognized as “30 under 30” by the National Association of REALTORS Class in 2013 and is the youngest board of director member in the CMLS & Central Carolina Association of REALTORS®.
