CARTER REALTORS announces Margaret-Ann Ashburn receives Homesnap Award

Margaret-Ann Ashburn, a real estate broker with CARTER REALTORS, has been awarded Homesnap’s Excellence in Client Service Award for 2020. The award is presented to those truly stand-out real estate professionals who consistently excel in client service. Homesnap analyzes tens of thousands of real estate agents each year to determine eligibility.

Ashburn’s background includes a career as writer and illustrator for magazines, newspapers, and locally published books, as well as part owner and manager of three successful city magazines. Her thirty-plus year career in real estate includes five years as Marketing Director for Russell & Jeffcoat, a large independent firm with more than 400 agents, and 16 years as Broker-in-Charge of the company’s Forest Acres Office. After Russell & Jeffcoat was sold to Coldwell Banker, she helped launch CARTER REALTORS.

Ashburn is the recipient of numerous sales and listing awards and is a Life Member of the Central Carolina Association of REALTORS Circle of Excellence, formerly known as the Million Dollar Club. She is a member of League of Women Voters, Friends of Congaree, Women in Philanthropy, the Sierra Club, Forest Acres Neighborhood Association, and Forest Acres Merchant’s Association. She is also Bulletin Editor & past-President of Forest Acres Rotary Club.
