Cason Development Group adds new Development Associate

Cason Development Group has added Holly Buxton as a Development Associate. Buxton recently completed her Master’s in Real Estate Development from Clemson University.

As a Development Associate, Buxton will play a key role in helping the Cason development team continue to grow its presence throughout the state and expand on their existing relationships.

While pursuing her master’s, Buxton received the Norman F. Pulliam Founders Award given to the first-year Real Estate Development student recognizing “outstanding achievement in pursuing quality development that integrates the perspectives of the community, environment and economics.” Buxton also holds a bachelor’s degree from Clemson.

Her previous experience includes work as a commercial real estate market analyst for Emma & Co. in Greenville, as well as with Buxton Properties in Chapin and Venture Resort in Columbia.

A native of Irmo, Buxton said, “Although I grew up near Columbia, I always knew I wanted to attend Clemson University, following in the footsteps of my mother and sister.” At Clemson, she pursued a degree in business management with an emphasis in entrepreneurship. “During my undergrad I quickly knew that real estate was the perfect field for me. Recognizing the profound impact real estate can have on shaping communities and leaving lasting impressions, I decided to pursue a Master’s in Real Estate Development.“
