CBL Charitable Foundation donates $15,000 to Greer Community Ministries

CBL Charitable Foundation has donated $15,000 to Greer Community Ministries (GCM).
A 501(c)(3) nonprofit, GCM provides food and clothing to those in need in the greater Greer area through four programs, including Meals on Wheels, Senior Dining, a food pantry and a clothing closet.
“CBL Charitable Foundation has partnered with Greer Community Ministries for many years, and this check is just one of the ways they help us,” said GCM Executive Director Stephen Smith. “We will use the money to help continue to feed more than 300 people each weekday through our Meals on Wheels Program. The funds will also be used to support Big Thursday, our huge fundraiser in November.”
The CBL Charitable Foundation was established in 1999 by Citizens Building and Loan board of directors to support local non-profit and charitable entities in the Greer Area.
