CCSD welcomes new Procurement Services leader

Charleston County School District (CCSD) announced Ramona Brown as Director of Procurement Services. Brown joins the district from St. Johns Fire District where she has served as Controller for the last nine years.

Brown began her career in finance in 2007 as an accounting manager with the Town of Mt. Pleasant. While at the Town, Brown reviewed and approved all financial transactions for a $52 million+ budget to ensure GAAP compliance while also tracking and analyzing major revenue sources and preparing monthly financial statements for town council, executive staff, and department heads.
