Chernoff Newman expands public relations team

Elizabeth Cardell has joined Chernoff Newman as the newest member of the integrated marketing communication agency’s public relations team.
Most recently the director of communications and leadership development for the Columbia Chamber, Cardell oversaw the communications and public relations efforts for the Chamber and its programs. She also managed the Chamber’s Leadership Columbia and the Leadership Columbia Alumni Association programs.
A Virginia native, Cardell received her bachelor’s degrees in business administration and hospitality and tourism management from the College of Charleston and a master’s degree in public administration from the University of South Carolina. As a PR specialist, Cardell will help develop and execute public relations and integrated communications strategies and services for Chernoff Newman’s clients. She will work in the agency’s Columbia office.
Cardell is an active donor and Steering Committee member for the United Way of the Midlands’ Young Leaders Society (YLS), serves on the Women in Philanthropy (WIP) communications committee and is a 2017 Blueprint for Leadership candidate. She is also a member of the Junior League of Columbia, Columbia Opportunity Resource (COR) and the My Carolina Alumni Association.
