City of Columbia hosts public input session for centralized service campus for the chronically unsheltered

June 4, 2024

The City of Columbia will hold a public charrette to receive community input on a potential centralized service center for the chronically unsheltered in the City.

As Columbia’s unsheltered numbers continue to warrant concern, Mayor Daniel Rickenmann, City Council, and City leadership are convening the community to work together on a comprehensive, compassionate plan to best provide services to this population.

This event is open to the public. The City encourages citizens, businesses, community groups, churches, service providers, nonprofits, and the unsheltered population to attend and be a part of the conversation.
