October 24, 2022The annual Rhythm on the Rails event was held in downtown Clinton this past weekend.
The weather was perfect and judging from the turnout it was a great success. City officials report that over 5000 people come through the city of Clinton over the course of the two day event. By the end of Saturday night, most of the food vendors were selling out of everything but the bones from the BBQ.
The bands were enjoyed by those gathered and rumor has it there was some dancing in the street by the end of the night. Even the children got into the action as some went on stage and enjoyed dancing with the Prince band.
“It was truly a great weekend in Clinton,” said Joe Timmons, Main Street Clinton Director. “We appreciate the support of sponsors and all the citizens who came out to enjoy the event.”
