Coker College Unveils New Additions to Student Center
August 15, 2014HARTSVILLE, SC – Coker College held a grand opening today for the newly renovated Cobra Cafe, featuring new additions WOW American Grill and Wingery and We Proudly Serve Starbucks station.
“We are excited to provide so many additional food options for our students with our WOW American Grill and Wingery, our We Proudly Serve Starbucks station, and our Simply to Go options at the DeLoach Center, in addition to the full-service meal options in the Linville Dining Hall,” said Steve Terry, vice president for enrollment and contract services. “Our growth, coupled with our new contract with Sodexo, has allowed us to offer so many new and varied options.”
Coker College contracted Sodexo to provide dining services beginning this past May. As part of planned renovations to the Cobra Cafe in the student center, Sodexo built the WOW American Grill and Wingery and We Proudly Serve Starbucks station to provide students with more options for their dining experiences.
“Not only is Sodexo excited about the new partnership that we created with Coker College, I am both excited and privileged to be leading our efforts at Coker,” said Rick Gant, general manager of Coker College dining services for Sodexo. “Both the WOW American Grill and Wingery and the We Proudly Serve Starbucks station will be fine additions to our dining options on campus. We do hope that both the Coker community and the greater Hartsville community will enjoy these two new locations, as well as all of the other dining options on campus.”
