Colliers announces brokerage professional promotions in South Carolina

Charleston/Columbia/Greenville/Spartanburg, SC – Colliers | South Carolina announced that four brokerage associates have received promotions: Thomas Beard, SIOR and Dillon Swayngim have been promoted to Vice Presidents and Ryan McCue, ALC and Matt Pickard have been promoted to Senior Brokerage Associates.

Beard is an industrial brokerage specialist and a member of the leading industrial brokerage team in central South Carolina. He specializes in leasing, user sales and investment sales of industrial properties. He recently obtained the professional designation of SIOR (Society of Industrial and Office REALTORS®). In 2018, 2019 and 2020, Beard was named to the Central Carolina REALTORS® Association Commercial Circle of Excellence and also received CCRA’s Sales Transaction of the Year Award in 2020. He has been the recipient of Colliers | South Carolina’s Rising Star, Top Producer and Service Excellence Awards and is consistently recognized as a CoStar Power Broker. Beard is a graduate of Leadership Columbia Class of 2021 and serves on the Board of Directors for RED Atlas, a commercial real estate data and analytics company focused on serving emerging markets. Beard graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics.

Swayngim is an industrial brokerage specialist in the Greenville-Spartanburg market, specializing in landlord and tenant representation as well as industrial investment sales. He received Colliers | South Carolina’s 2020 Rising Star Award and has been named a CoStar Power Broker multiple times. He is a member of the Spartanburg Young Professionals, an organization of the Spartanburg Chamber of Commerce that focuses on social and leadership development, and United Way of the Piedmont’s Young Leaders Society. He also volunteers with Meals on Wheels. Swayngim graduated from the University of South Carolina Upstate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in economics and finance.

McCue is a land brokerage specialist focusing on the sale of large land tracts for development, recreational and timber uses. In 2021, McCue obtained the prestigious Accredited Land Consultant (ALC) designation from the REALTORS® Land Institute, confirming him as one of the region’s most qualified experts to help clients with their timberland and recreational land real estate needs. He has been the recipient of Colliers | South Carolina’s Rising Star award and Central Carolina Realtors Association Commercial Circle of Excellence – Bronze Award. He is a member of the REALTORS® Land Institute, Columbia East Rotary Club and is a committee member of Columbia Ducks Unlimited. McCue graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Parks, Recreation and Tourism Management with a minor in Forest Resource Management.

Pickard is an industrial specialist in the Charleston market representing landlords and tenants in the sale, leasing and disposition of industrial properties. He is currently a candidate to obtain the professional designation of SIOR (Society of Industrial and Office REALTORS®). He received Colliers | South Carolina’s 2020 Rising Star and Service Excellence Awards. Pickard is active in the community and serves as a member of the Charleston Preservation Society and the Charleston Young Professionals. He is a 2020 graduate of the Leadership Discovery Program of the Charleston Metro Chamber. Pickard graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree specializing in finance.
