Columbia Metropolitan Airport to co-host small business event

September 24, 2018

Columbia Metropolitan Airport, in partnership with the South Carolina Airports Coalition, will co-host the 2018 Small Business Fly-In for DBEs, women-owned businesses, veteran-owned businesses and small local business enterprises. The Fly-In will provide opportunities for entrepreneurs and business owners to network with airport leaders and learn about bid opportunities.

The event, which is free, will be held on Thursday, October 25 from 4 pm – 7 pm at The Landing by RJ, 1832 Airport Boulevard, Cayce SC. Space is limited. To register, please go to https://scflyin.eventbrite.com.

The South Carolina Airports Coalition is the first of its kind in the nation. In 2016, the Columbia Metropolitan Airport (CAE), Charleston International Airport (CHS), Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport (GSP), and Myrtle Beach International Airport (MYR) formed an alliance to help build relationships and promote business opportunities for small, minority, women and veteran-owned businesses. The annual “Fly-In” invites businesses to learn the significance of certifications, provide networking opportunities, learn about upcoming business opportunities, and meet Airport representatives face to face.
