Complete PR’s Boyanoski to present at Mayors’ Conference

COLUMBIA SC – Complete Public Relations president John Boyanoski will be discussing his book “Reimagining Greenville” at the fifth annual Grow Your City Mayors’ Economic Development Symposium in Columbia Friday.

Each year, more than 200 municipal mayors, council members, business leaders and engaged citizens from across South Carolina attend this event Mayors’ Economic Development Symposium, which is sponsored by the North Columbia Business Association and being held on the Benedict College campus.

Boyanoski will be speaking about how Greenville’s downtown transformed in the past 25 years from an urban blight to one of the most celebrated Main Streets in the country. This saga is detailed in Reimagining Greenville, which he wrote with Knox White, Greenville’s mayor.

Boyanoski is the owner and president of Complete Public Relations, a full-service public relations firm handling media affairs, governmental relations, crisis communications and social media.

When not running Complete, he believes in service to the community. He was the 2013 chair for the Greenville Chamber’s PULSE Advisory Council, which represents more than 1,000 young professionals in the Upstate. He also serves the Chamber’s Small Business Council; is a former member of the Chamber Board of Advisors; sits on the Upstate Heart Ball board; is former chairman of the Friends of the Greenville Zoo board; sits on the ReBuild Upstate board; formerly sat on the Leadership Council for Meals on Wheels of Greenville; serves on the county’s Laurens Road trail committee and is an active member of Greenville Forward. He was named one of Greenville’s Best and Brightest in 2012; is a graduate of Leadership Greenville Class 40 and a graduate of the Greenville Health System Medical Scholar program. He was named the Greenville Chamber’s 2014 Young Professional of the Year.
