Crawford Strategy reinforces emphasis on corporate growth with addition of Allison Mertens

Crawford Strategy, a full-service strategic marketing, brand development, digital and public relations firm, reaffirms its commitment to business development with the addition of Allison Mertens as Senior Vice President of Corporate Growth. Mertens will join the senior management team and will be involved in all aspects of the company, but specifically will be a key driver of the momentum and growth of the Company.

Mertens brings 25 years of marketing and branding expertise along with experience in agency management. Mertens joins Crawford Strategy from Infinity Marketing where as Director of Business Services, she oversaw the expansion of the agency for five years. Her varied background includes market research, political advertising, as well as B2C and B2B marketing and advertising positions. She also served as Director of Marketing and Communications for what is now Windstream Communications. Additionally, she spent several years in Washington, D.C. and New York City where she worked for a world-wide management consulting firm.

Mertens has been deeply involved in the Greenville community throughout her career, serving as a former board member of the Greenville Professional Women’s Forum, a Sustainer Advisor for the Junior League and an Alumni Regional Representative for Williams College and Christ Church Episcopal School. Mertens is also the former board chair of the Carolinas Chapter of the MS Society, a graduate of Leadership Greenville and a recipient of Greenville’s Best and Brightest award.
