CrossFit864 to Host Annual 9/11 Hero Walk in Clinton

On Wednesday, September 11, CrossFit864 in Clinton will hold its annual “NEVER FORGET” Hero Walk in honor of the victims of the September 11, 2001, attacks. The event, which has become a tradition in the community, will begin at 12:00 noon at the Clinton City Municipal Building, where participants will gather by the flagpole before embarking on a solemn walk through the streets of Clinton. Organizers encourage participants to bring their own flags as a symbol of unity and remembrance.
“This event is our way of paying tribute to the thousands of lives lost on that tragic day,” said Jay Long of CrossFit864. “It’s a moment for us as a community to come together, reflect, and show our respect. We will never forget.”
Participants of all ages are invited to join in this patriotic event, united by the resilience and strength of the community. The Hero Walk is an opportunity to honor those who perished, as well as the first responders and heroes who risked their lives on that fateful day.
